Sharon Yvonne Stone was born on March 10 the year 1958 in Meadville, Pennsylvania, to accountant Dorothy Lawson and tool and die manufacturer as well as former worker in the factory Joseph William Stone II. Michael, Kelly, Patrick. She is one of three sisters. Stone was thought to be an academically talented child when she began the second grades at five. Saegertown Senior High School in Saegertown Pennsylvania was the place where she received her diploma in 1975. She also competed at the Miss Pennsylvania pageant and won Miss Crawford County. Stone moved to New Jersey in 1977 with her aunt, to take on a job as a model. In just a few months, she was signed with Ford Modeling Agency. The next step was Europe where she spent one year residing with her aunt in Milan, Paris and other cities. Stone was unhappy with the modeling business in Europe, and chose to focus on acting instead. Stone was in Woody Allen's film "Stardust Memories" when he was twenty. The film received mixed reviews.
