Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, an American screen and stage actress, best well-known for her films in Ray Undercover Brother and on the TV show The Mentalist. She received a BA from Brown University in African-American Studies. In the Tisch school of the arts, New York University she obtained an MFA. Aunjanue Ellis is an American actor and producer who is active in film, theater, and television. Her stage debut was in the year 2000 and went onto appear in mainstream, independent as well as television shows. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico. After that, she was able to make appearances on BET's acclaimed TV series The Book of Negroes. She started her career as an actress in 1995, when she appeared as Ariel on the stage in The Tempest. In addition to the Broadway production Come and Gone, she has also been featured in Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis. Her most well-known work is her roles in the films Men of Honor and the Caveman's Valentine The Express & The Help. Her part as a regular on the drama series High Incident on ABC High Incident earned her praises.
